Automatic Transformer Ratio Meter
Our automatic microprocessor based transformer ratio meter is the on the first automatic ratio meter in the country giving digital display of ratio directly. This instrument works without any need of balancing, it accurately measures the voltage transformation ratio of single phase/3-phase delta or star connected transformers, CTs & PTs, power transformers: Following are some of its features:
Test Voltage:
The Instrument provides 3 isolated test voltages of 48V & 4.8V, which enable the testing of both power transformers & Cts.
Display:
4½ digit LCD displays the ratio i.e. ratio of high voltage winding to low voltage winding at low flux in the core. Ratio is displayed in three ranges i.e.1-10,10-100,100 1000,1000-10000 by auto ranging.
Principle of operation:
This micro-processor based instrument uses ratio-metric circuit in which the ratio of test specimen is compared with known internal standard.
Protection:
The instrument is protected against any wrong connection across the transformer. Fast acting VBO trips in case of stepping up of test voltage. Keypad & LCD Display: This is provided for displaying keyboard selected parameter, error/warning messages like incorrect connection, accidental step up mis connection, low battery for user friendly functioning etc.

Transformer Winding Resistance Meter
Transformer Winding Resistance Meter is designed to measure the winding resistance of transformers, Inductors, generators and motor windings, Tap Changers Etc. It is specially designed for Highly Inductive objects like 400KV/220KV.Special care is taken for measuring 3 phase transformers by using band switch matrix, to avoid climbing on transformers for safe & measurements. This is only indigenous TWRM which gives very fast readings for 3Phase Star-Delta any combination Transformers. The built in open circuit Voltage of DC Supply ensures that core of the transformer is saturated for fast measurements to be taken. Care is taken to absorb the Back emf of such transformers. For user safety, Indication for discharges is provided on front panel , if the current through winding under measurement is disturbed/discontinued. Instrument has built in 10A regulated and highly stable current source with current election of 10Amp,1Amp, 0.1Amp & 0.01Amp. Instrument uses ratio-metric circuit where the resistance of specimen is compared with known internal standard and 4 ½ digit LED/LCD display is provided for resistance measurement in milliohms and in ohms.
